Elections

General elections for each office are held every four years. Rural municipalities hold an election for selected divisions every two years; however, each council member holds office for a four-year term.

Upcoming municipal election dates are:

• Monday, November 9, 2026, to elect Councillors representing Divisions 2, 4, and 6.
• Wednesday, November 8, 2028, to elect Councillors representing Divisions 1, 3, and 5 and the reeve.

Residents may also vote in a municipal byelection to choose a new council member to fill a vacated office.
